If you ever visited China in mid 1990, you probably will nod at this logo and smile. This happy boy’s picture was everywhere: television advertisement, billboard, yogurt drink, jelly, kids’ sticks, etc. Want want’s logo was basically everywhere.
Want Want China, is a Taiwan’s dominant snack manufacturer. Want Want began producing canned agricultural products in Taiwan, mainly for export, 46 years ago. The manufacturer collaborated with Japanese rice cracker maker Iwatsuka Confectionery in 1983 to develop the rice cracker market in Taiwan and expanded in Mainland China in 1992. Now, the founder of Want Want is one of the richest businessman in Taiwan.
The most famous Want Want products are their rice cracker (Senbei).
Rice Cracker, also called Senbei in Japanese, are baked bit size hard and crunchy snack. According to the definition in Wikipedia, rice crackers were originated from Chinese “Jiang Bing”. This is quite interesting, since Jian Bing are soft, pan cake like flour wrapper. You can still find in Many Chinese Restaurants (for example, green scallion pan cake is the one popular in US. There are many varieties in China).
We have selected two rice crackers for their savory taste: Natural Rice Cracker and Seaweed Rice Cracker. They are available in single bag sale.

Snowy Senbei is my personal favorite. It’s a nice - and healthy - snack if you’re craving something sweet.
